WELCOME TO SWOT-LAUNCH 2021
This year, our SWOT Conference is all about getting your team the training needed for wherever you're at as an outreach! We will all go through the Mindset Track in the morning Zoom call.
There are then optional tracks to choose from. It is possible to do all the tracks. It is recommended that you choose this in advance. You can read through the short descriptions below to help you choose which one would work best for your outreach.
We also recommend splitting it up into sections and working through it talk by talk each day of Launch. Each track is split into three parts to make this easier. The only exception is the split session which is split into men’s and women’s sessions.
The videos are all hosted on YouTube. We would recommend you turn on Closed Captions/Subtitles. You can do that by clicking the button on the bottom right of the video.

TRAINING
MINDSET & MOTIVATION
One of the biggest deficiencies in leadership training is that people focus too much on knowledge and skills.
What sets pastoral missionary leaders apart however is not so much knowledge and skills though these things are important - it is their mindset.
REACH, CALL, FORM, SEND
This track is aimed at students and those who have not attended a SWOT before. It lays out the key principles and processes we use in student outreaches across the region. It breaks this into manageable and understandable steps and is a really good foundation for an outreach.
PROTIP: If you already have an outreach set up you can start from Session A. If you are still in the process of setting up an outreach we recommend starting with Session 0.
HELPING PEOPLE PROGRESS AS DISCIPLES
This track is aimed at those who have attended a SWOT before and have done some
outreach. It seeks to look at the next steps in helping people that you are working with,
progress as disciples.
SPLIT SESSIONS
These sessions are designed to help you in building strong and upbuilding Men’s and Women’s environments within your outreach. They give practical guidance in how these environments are essential for evangelism and bringing new people into your outreaches.
DAILY COACHING CHECK IN
Each day you can have a short meeting with one of the Kairos team to discuss how SWOT is going for you. This is chance to talk in more depth with someone from another location, answer any questions you have or give help to engage the conference.
