TRANSPORT
You can fly into either Belfast or Dublin Airport. There will be transport to the Activity Centre from Belfast City Centre at 4pm or Dublin Airport at 4:30pm.
FAQ
What should I bring?
Comfortable Clothes: Think layers! We'll be outside a lot and doing activities, so pack clothes you can move easily in. Include some T-shirts, hoodies, and jeans/shorts.
Outdoor Gear: Bring a warm jacket—it might get chilly in the evenings!
Raincoat: It's Ireland!
Athletic Shoes: trainers for games and activities.
Clothes for the Lord's Day Celebration and for Sunday service
Towel and toiletries
Bible & Journal: Bring your Bible, a notebook, and a pen for notes during sessions.
Flashlight: For evening adventures, games, or late-night hangouts.
Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! There will be plenty of activities.
UK adapter
Young people are advised not to bring any valuable items to Compass as we will be at an Activity Centre where things can easily get muddy/wet/broken with all the activities and surroundings. Kairos and the Community of Nazareth accept no responsibility for items that are lost or damaged during the retreat.
The venue also has a mobile phone policy - which we shall send out in advance.
Where should I fly into?
You have three options.
Belfast City Airport (15 mins transport from Belfast Grand Central Station)
Belfast International Airport (30-40 mins transport from Belfast Grand Central Station)
Dublin Airport
How do I get from the Airport to the venue?
We are currently working on the best options for this and will be in touch.
When does the weekend end?
The weekend ends at 2pm on the Sunday
A bus will take you from the YES Retreat to Belfast Grand Central Station for 3pm. Please plan your onward travel accordingly
Where will we sleep?
You will be sharing dorms in Carlingford Activity Centre. Bedding is provided.
Do I need to bring a youth leader?
We ask each group bringing youth to send a youth leader with them
