THE POWER OF GOD TOOK THE OFFERING OF A SHEPHERD BOY AND BROUGHT DOWN A GIANT WARRIOR. DAVID KNEW THAT THE BATTLE BELONGED TO THE LORD! HIS POWER IS BEYOND COMPARE AND LIVES ON THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE TO THE POWER OF GOD?
THE PROMISE OF GOD is everlasting. even when david's sin GOT IN THE WAY, the lord showED mercy AND OFFERED REDEMPTION. HE CONTINUES TO FULFILL HIS GREAT PROMISES DESPITE OUR WEAKNESS.

This year at the YES Retreat we will launch a brand new programme for all 17 year olds...
What is an influencer?
Don't worry - we're not talking about TikTok trends and sponsored posts, but about what it really means to have the power to influence your environment! Influencers take some responsibility for the vibes, they lead by example and they put effort into relationships, exploring faith and encouraging others. They listen, they contribute and they serve in the way Jesus teaches us.
What will it look like?
The main job of influencers is to participate. So, regardless of your experience, it looks like any YES Retreat - you come along with your youth group and enjoy the weekend! All influencers will also have a special dinner together on Friday where you'll be assigned one service for the retreat. These are small services that are a big help - you could be serving snacks during a break, running a station in the wide game, or leading a prayer before a meal...there are many areas of service and one common theme - it's a simple offering of service to influence the greater culture of the YES Retreat. We hope you'll experience God in a new way through this programme and we are excited to work together in so many different ways to glorify God!
