YES is an opportunity for youth (ages 14-17) across Europe to encounter God and to build life-giving relationships with other young people.

ELIJAH & ELISHA
God throughout generations
The Lord called Elijah and did amazing things through him, and we join the story as Elisha is being called to carry on that work.
When Elijah calls Elisha, he places his mantle on Elisha’s shoulders. The mantle symbolizes Elijah’s authority, but also his responsibility.
THE DOUBLE PORTION
Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?
Elijah asks Elisha a question. 'What can I do for you before I am taken from you?' Elisha responds with 'Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit'. This is a bold request! Elisha asks for an overflow of the spirit as he steps into God's call on his life.
RESPONDING TO THE LORD'S WORK
What does it mean for us?
The Lord is doing something in us right now, and in order to take it up we need to make a particular type of response. This is a discipleship response of total commitment: Elisha destroys for himself the possibility of a return to normal life. It’s all or nothing now.
