Like many international organisations, being networked globally presents great opportunities.
Strong identity. Those associated with Kairos value the sense of identity that an international network brings. The reality is that more and more people work and live in different countries throughout their lives. Kairos helps keep people connected.
Enriched learning. We learn much from one another as we share across borders. The diversity that international relationships bring often provide us with new ideas and enhanced creativity in our work.
Intercultural experience. One does not have to travel far to discover people who live differently. We are keen on using our Kairos international network to help people develop their intercultural skills so that they can be more effective in their contribution to the world.
One of our key programmes is "Standing in the GAP". The programme is particularly targetted at those leaving college or university and offers the possibility of spending a year serving in one of our missions in another country. It's a key opportunity to serve and receive training and is made possible through our worldwide network.
